BIODISTRIBUTION AND PK STUDIES IN VIVO

Pharmacokinetic (PK) studies are an important aspect of new drug development process. Knowing how the body absorbs, distributes, metabolizes and eliminates drugs helps guide the dosing regimen in human trials to maximize efficacy and avoid undesirable effects.

A bio-distribution experiment is carried out in animals to gain insight information on the pharmacokinetics of your novel compounds.

The test compounds will be mainly tested in the following organs: blood, heart, lung, liver, spleen and kidney.

In order to understand the pharmacokinetics (PK) of your innovating drugs, Cellvax propose a bio-distribution and PK studies in mice. At different time points (Typical time points: 30 Min; 1h; 3h; 6h; 12h; 24h; 32h; 48h and 96h), the presence of your drug or its metabolites will searched and analyzed in different organs (Liver; Spleen; Lung; Heart; Brain; Intestine; Adipose tissues; Skin; Bone; Serum; Urine, etc.).
